10 Minutes for Yourself
Before another busy week begins, I’d like to share a small practice that I find surprisingly helpful.
It’s simply taking 10 minutes for yourself at the end of the week.
Most of us move from one week to the next without ever pausing. We deal with whatever is urgent, react to what happens, and carry the same patterns into the following week.
A short weekly reflection can change that.
It’s a chance to step back and ask a few simple questions:
• What gave me energy this week?
• What quietly drained me?
• Which areas of life may need more attention?
• What small change could make next week better?
It’s not about judging yourself or fixing everything at once.
It’s simply about noticing.
To make this easier, I created a Weekly Life Review template you can use.
You can access it here:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rWgawmEJxR7UGHYxq2zlyj_kTAMaDqQ-qBqzhHRegjs/edit?usp=sharing
If you're using Google Docs, you can click File → Make a copy and save your own version.
The review only takes about 10 minutes, but over time it helps you see patterns more clearly and make small adjustments that add up.
In the coming weeks, I’ll also share reflections, tools, and ideas around wellness, relationships, and performance — the areas that shape how we experience life and work.
If you have a quiet moment this weekend, you might try the review and see what you notice.
